Jure Slapar je priznan kitarist – tako v Sloveniji kot tudi v tujini.
Po končanem Konservatoriju za glasbo v Ljubljani je svoje izobraževanje nadaljeval na Jazzcampusu v Baslu in diplomiral na Berlinski univerzi za umetnost.
Svoje znanje je poglabljal pod mentorstvom svetovno priznanih mojstrov, kot so: Lionel Loueke, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Aydin Esen, Peter Bernstein, David Friedman in drugi.

V sezoni 2023/24 je bil izbran v prestižno mednarodno zasedbo FocusYear v Baslu, s katero so izdali tudi album Nine Realms.
Je prejemnik več nagrad na tekmovanjih TEMSIG in redno nastopa z različnimi zasedbami doma in v tujini.
Oder si je delil s svetovno priznanimi glasbeniki, kot so:
Kurt Rosenwinkel, Aydin Esen, Kendrick Scott, Lionel Loueke, Kris Davis, Linda May Oh, Miguel Zenon, Django Bates, Malcolm Braff, Ingrid Jensen, Anders Jormin, Doug Weiss, Chris Cheek in mnogi drugi.

Jure is a renowned guitarist both in Slovenia and internationally.
After completing the Conservatory of Music in Ljubljana, he continued his studies at Jazzcampus in Basel and graduated from the Berlin University of the Arts.
He studied under world-renowned mentors such as Lionel Loueke, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Aydin Esen, Peter Bernstein, David Friedman, and many more.

In the 2023/24 season, he was selected for the prestigious FocusYear Band in Basel, with whom he recorded the album Nine Realms.
He is a multiple TEMSIG competition award winner and performs regularly with various ensembles throughout Europe.
He has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed musicians like:
